The Galaxy
The Galaxy has been a consistent 60lb+ fish since 2010. It really came to prominence in October 2012 when it tipped the scales at 68lb 12oz when captured from Oblivion. It has been captured twice in the last four years, and on both occasions it weighed in at a hefty 71lb. In 2014, the Tree Line was the successful swim followed by Co's Point 2 years later, indicating that it regularly frequents that end of the lake for a feed.
The maintenance of weight and slow growth suggests that this could well be a male fish. Looking at catch records, it would appear that October is a particularly good month to target this beautiful fish.
