Cluster
An awesome carp, almost certainly a male fish as the weight stays fairly constant with a slow and steady growth rate. Cluster was the first carp over 50lb that was seen by DF after he bought the lake.
It was caught from The Alamo in November 2008 at 51lbs and then disappeared for 2 years before Damian Clarke made its aquaintance at 56lbs 12oz. DF had it at 58lbs 12oz in September 2011when filming the Korda DVD. He recalls that "Cluster totally beasted me. When I eventually got it back from 120 yards out where I hooked it it kept diving into the short weed that lines the marginal shelf, frequently getting stuck solid".
The last couple of captures have seen Cluster pile on the pounds and in October 2015 when the Danish lads visited Gigantica, he hit the banks at a whopping 73lb, when caught from the Big Southerly.
The last capture of Cluster was in July 2016 when James Sherrian banked the beast at 68lb from Bob's Beach. A rare visitor to the bank, but an absolute fish of a lifetime if it does grace your net.
