Welcome back. Another week of highs and lows. Crazy high pressure, easterly based Indian summer really making itself felt amongst the fish.
Several blanked, solely due to conditions and the Carps odd behaviour due too the weather.
Saturday night, Kev in Alamo, did what we all travel too France for, a fish of a lifetime in the shape of Brutus, at her first time out at over 60lb. Kev used his own bait fished out towards the weed on the right hand side of the swim. A PB as well, a great start too the week.
Bryan & MArtin, doubled up in Co's showed us all how its done. Martin banking the well known 'black eye' her 1st time over 50 !! A long time coming for this character fish. Bryan, using his own Black Snailz boilies really got amongst em with several fish topped of with a VERY impressive 52lb common. Again, this fishes 1st time at 50+
Late knockings, Dave & Locky got amongst a few to save a blank which, if you take into the account the bizzarre weather, the whole group did well considering.
Be safe, be lucky.
