Angler Comments

The tide has finally turnt, and fish are now being caught on the bottom. Zigs have finally dried up, but thats not too say if the weather warms, zigs will again dominate the captures.

Alan, fishing Alcatraz had a very sensible week, catching 4 fish, with Danish Bacon @ 42lb, which was a new PB and the first on a new bait he was testing for Mainline. He also caught 3 others, fishing precisely too the plateau in this swim.

Gordon, in Beach, struggled at first on zigs but tuned his approach too suit then promptly banked 2 fish, the biggest an absolutely incredible fish, a real stunner and weighed 35.12lb. Mainline Cellmixed with Fusion doing it for Gordon.

Several bream for the guys in Tree line and Co's proved a tough week for both anglers concerned.

Steve the fish, fishing Big Southerly had a run of bad luck, losing the 3 he breifly contacted with, a new rig that needs refining to blame.

I finally managed to get the rods out, the first real week Ive managed. Solidz and stacked hookbaits in the weed saw me bank 3,nothing big but all good solid 30z, fish for our future !

Paul & Paul in Alamo suffered the worst of the weather, taking it on directly but still managed 4 chances, unfortunately, losing 2 too hook pulls but landing a 28 common too Paul, and the Cut tail common, now spawned out at 50.12lb, a new PB

Finally, Tony in big girls, struggling with no fish in his well baited area, made the decision to move on Friday too Stock pond in a last ditch effort, which paid off. He caught a 23lb common with literally hours too go !

Proving,it aint over till the fat lady sings. Until next week.

Stay safe,be lucky.

Danny
