Week Commencing: Sat 13/09/2014

Well it’s the Middle of September and we are well in that transition period between summer and autumn.  This period can sometimes be tricky until they really start to get on the feed before winter.

With daytime temperatures this week up to 24 degrease but dropping off much cooler in the evenings autumn is defiantly on its way.

A really slow week this week but the fish that did come out where all quality fish.

Its strange how things are in carp fishing as it wasn’t until Thursday morning when the first fish was caught. Then three out in quick succession firstly Bob in Pole Postition had a take fishing at 28 wraps towards The Stink, his reward for his effort was a common that goes by the name of The Big Bollox Common, and a fish that is easily recognizable.  This weighed 45lb 10oz and if this wasn’t enough he then had another take a couple of hours later.  This time a fish called The Bearded Lady at 54lb 8oz, what a morning and well done.

Also Thursday morning Liam had a common called Arfur out of the Tree Line at 41lb 8oz.  Fishing at 21 wraps towards the dead fallen tree.

With not really much to write about on such a quiet week, a massive well done to Bob for his Thursday morning brace.  He’s here again next week for his second week. So lets hop these carp start to play ball.
