What a week here at Gigantica with a new Lake Record Common being landed. “The Immaculate” went 80lb8oz and it has to be one of the top 3 commons in Europe at the moment. The weather for the week was sunny turning to overcast towards the end of the week, with a steady westerly for most of the week, the day time temperature was up to 28 degrees and the night time temperature down to a chilly 12 degrees.

Kevin Wallacey was fishing in The Alamo, he spent a good hour or so having a good plumb around with his marker rod and found a nice area at 28 wraps in-line with the tall tree to the left of Bob’s Beach, the other area he was fishing was at 15 wraps towards the club house. Kev baited each area with 8kg of boilies at the start of the week and adding an extra 5kg every day over each spot, and after every fish he would put out another 12 spods. The first few days he was picking up just stockies, then on Tuesday he goes and lands “wipe Out” at 37lb. On Friday evening he Lands the biggest fish he had ever seen! “Two Time” which went 67lb and a new PB for Kev. Saturday morning, he lands a couple more 20’s, Kev was using an IQ-D Rig with a Baitworks Royal Marine bottom bait.

Russell finished the week with “The Unattended” at 45lb.

Paul Adams was in Big Southerly, he found a nice area at 23 wraps to the left of Alcatraz, and his third rod was at 13.5 wraps just to the left of the orange marker pole.
