Work Party Hero’s

It’s that time of year again when the work party lad’s turn up and get stuck in, it’s one of them week’s that we all look forward to because it’s a laugh a minute with great company!

The week past with not many fish, well only 3 in total, Gregg Baillie in Pole managed a 28lb mirror from the 33 wrap spot right of stink feeding mainly corn with crushed boilie. I managed a 27lb mirror from beach fishing 27 wraps towards Alamo, feeding corn and hemp and Jack link manged I.Q over on the Road Lake at 57lb.

Fishing was slow but we managed to get some serious work done! Mountains of weed from the Main Lake with Stock Pond, Pole Position and Oblivion being the worse effected swims. But we raked up to 27 wraps in every swim bar the corners, most swims produced a bit of end tackle and the odd spomb but nothing major. Now over on the Road Lake the group of lads hit the Beach area hard for a few days, dragging in snags that we thought we could never remove. The stuff they brought in was unbelievable, big tree roots branches, stacks and stacks of line, rigs and braid. They also done other swims where we knew was snags and these have also been removed so we are super excited to see what that produces this year!

As per usual on the Thursday night the cheese board comes out with the wine of course, and this was a bit of a eye opener! It got a bit PG so ill leave it to your imagination, it was great fun and a great laugh. Killer darts got worse and worse as the night went on as you could imagine!!

That’s all from me

Tight lines
