Happy 50^th Radek

This week we welcomed a group of friends all the way from Czech Republic, out celebrating their friend Radek’s 50^th birthday.

Only one place to start this week and that’s with the man himself, Radek Bis. Radek pulled ball number 4 out in the draw this week and chose to go in Co’s Point. After previous weeks reports he then decided to fish out towards the tits at 30 wraps, after this proving to be the going spot recently. Starting off with a corn-based mix, adding house hemp, Cell boilie crumb and Cell stick mix, Radek started steady with the bait and fished 3 spinners with the ever-faithful slow sinking maize over the top. Radek’s first fish of the week, and also out of Gigantica, came on the first morning, where he managed two fish one known as ‘Grinder’ at 18lb 4oz and a recent stocky put in in December and newly named ‘Bison’ at 10lb 8oz. Topping up his spot in the day and recasting at first light seemed to work for Radek picking all of his fish up early morning. The spot then slowed up for a couple of days until Thursday when he managed another two ‘DBOK’ at 32lb 12oz and one now named as ‘Co’s Coins’ at 24lb 4oz. one last fish came out to Radek on Friday morning, another he got to name, now going as ‘The Wallet’ at 12lb 12oz. 

Unfortunately, that was it for this week, but what a great group to host here at Gigantica and one I hope to see return.
